🤦🏼♂️ Introduction
I'm super excited for the new Pixel stuff coming up on the channel soon, following the release of the new Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. We're going to be heading out for a Day in the Life-style video and, of course, the ol' classic: Lifelong iPhone User Switches to Pixel Fold!
I actually bought the Tablet and Fold with my own cash as I wasn't certain that Team Google were going to be sending them out to me! But, hurrah! The Pixel Tablet arrived this week and, with luck, the Pixel Fold will be mailed to be for this coming week!
I've actually been using the Pixel Tablet all the time round the house! It's a perfect blend of home hub and tablet, a combination that the iPad hasn't quite got right yet! And for £599, you get so much versatility with its Nest Hub features, Google Assistant, tablet features, optimised apps for multitasking, and a sick charging dock that doubles up as a speaker!
With the planned Day in the Life with the Pixel Fold content, I'll be heading out, probably, on a boat trip to the Isle of Wight (a little island off the south coast of England) and we'll be testing the Fold in a kind of day-to-day usage capacity. I'm particularly interested to see how the battery life holds up, especially in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 - which I LOVED.
What would you like to see from this content? Anything you think I should specifically test out with this new foldable phone?
Another bit of tech that I'm excited to test out is the new Samsung G9 OLED monitor. As you may know, I'm a huge fan of my Samsung G9 Neo monitor, so it'll be interesting to see if this one will be my new go-to!
The frustrating thing though is I put my pre-order in weeks ago, at a whopping £2,000. But recently they've reduced its price down to £1,599! I was like, will I get this discount despite pre-ordering it weeks ago at full retail price?
So I got in touch with the online team and they told me, irritatingly, that I'd have to cancel my pre-order and re-pre-order (is that even a word?). BUT, get this, I can't actually pre-order now because they're sold out! FFS!
Another thing I'm super excited to buy when it's released is, of course, the Apple Vision Pro! So, I've sold my Meta Quest 2 and Pro to fund this eye-wateringly expensive ($3.5k!) new VR headset from Apple. It's set to be an absolute game-changer - possibly even life-changer.
